其實差別真的很小. 都是 應該, 一定 的意思.
must 和have to 是比較嚴重的,因為是"一定要"
Should 和 ought to是 "應該要"較緩和.
Must 比 have to 還嚴厲. Have to 比 should 還嚴厲.
Ought to 語氣不強烈, 但是有命令的意味. 指責, 教導時用.
Should = 應該要
You should be home before midnight = 你應該要在半夜以前回家.
Have to = 一定要
You have to be home before midnight = 你一定要在半夜以前回家.
Must = 一定要
You must be home before midnight = 你一定要在半夜以前回家.
Ought to = 應該要
You Ought to be home before midnight = 你應該要在半夜以前回家.
還有 better = 最好要 (威脅用)
"You better be home before midnight" = 你最好在半夜以前回家.

should "應該 "Ex:You should always be honest to yourself!have to "必須",基本上可和must通用,但有強調的語氣Ex:We have to（must） leave before 10:00 to catch the last bus. ought to "應該" ,語氣上最強烈,強調Ex:You ought to be faithful to your wife!!

should 有"應該 , 應當"的意思
have to 有"必須"的意思 是有強調的語氣
must 則是"(表示必要,命令或強制)必須 , 一定要" 必要的意思
ought to 指"須 , 該" 沒那麼強調 相等於"should"或"should have"
