凹凸二字是concave 與 convex, 無庸贅言。
建築物是凹凸字形的，也可用 a T-shaped building 與/或 a building of U shape. U 的底部不是直角，但通常不會計較那麼多了，真要計較的話只好照黃金路西的說法了。
路面凸起來與路面凹下去，也有人說
the pavement heaved 路面隆起來了。
the pavement is depressed. 路面被壓凹了。
the pavement settled. 路面陷下去了。
上面三句都是很正式的說法 。
路面連續凸凹不平呈波浪形像洗衣板那麼樣子則說
Heavy traffic has shoved pavement into washboard ripples and bumps.
最常見的原因是車子加速或煞車造成的。
這個 shoving， ripples 與 bumps 都是路面凸起。 (它們 的水流方向與行車方向垂直)
如果路面是被車輪碾出了車轍而凹下去
there is rutting on the pavement. (rutting 的水流方向與行車方向平行)
路面變形了 the pavement distorted.
「凹凸有致」是不是 mouth-watering figure?

嗯, 前面兩位回答的怪怪的
concave and convex 形容的是圓弧型的凹凸,
比如說眼鏡, 前面的凸起弧形 (convex)跟後面的凹入弧形 (concave)就可以這樣用.
可是用在形容建築物的形狀就不行了,
畢竟中文用凹凸兩字來形容形狀也是因為他字本身的形狀而來.
普遍的英語說法是:
凸字形 --- T- shape (像不像凸字反過來?? 比較瘦就是了...)
凹字形 --- E-shape without the middle bar (嗯, 外國人輸了...竟然要用這麼多個字)
路面凸起 --- a bump on the road
路面凹陷 --- a hollow on the road
凹凸有緻 --- a pear shape figure (西洋梨身材東方人可能不愛, 不過對鍾愛挺俏渾圓臀部的西洋人來說可視絕品哩!!!)
