" exhausted " 本身就是形容詞，是 耗盡的 用完的
" exhaust+ ing " 則是 使.....耗盡的
加了 ed 並不一定表示過去式，有時是形容詞
而 ed 和 ing 有時都是形容詞時
ed 通常修飾人 ； ing 則修飾 事或物

這裡的 feel 是做感觀動詞來用，譯為"感到..."。
They felt quite exhausted when they reached the top of the mountain.
當他們抵達山頂時，他們感到相當的疲憊。
至於為什麼使用過去分詞，是因為主詞是人而不是物。
動詞變成形容詞可分二類，一種是 Ving，一種是 pp。
這二種的中文解釋是有差異的！
Ving >> 令人... (偏主動)
pp >> 感到... (偏被動)
