英文句構問題，裡面有一些問題，麻煩各位幫忙

Question

1.請問a beefed up international force是什麼意思

2.what we\'ve done here is use all the materals at hand
請問一下這一句出現了三個動詞型式 have done, is ,use雖然我知道在口語裡依照語氣會有這樣的形式，但是在書寫時有錯誤嗎?如果用is to use的話意思一樣嗎?

3. jump into the fray with a court stipulating that the principal be required to show cause
這句的stipulating為什麼要用動名詞後面接的關代我不太知道怎麼用(雖然意思知道)，尤其是be required to的前面有省略哪個字嗎，因為be是用原型

4. I stand still with my eyes closed
I ride bicycle with my hair blowing
請問這兩句with的附帶狀態裡後面的close, blowing為什麼要用P.P.或Ving，我知道是有被動主動的差別，所以眼睛被我闔起來用被動，但是第2句裡頭髮應該是被風吹起，可是為什麼要用blowing
麻煩大家幫我解答一下這幾題的句構，謝謝!

a beefed up international force (強化的國際軍事)

2. what we've done here is use all the materals at hand
我猜測認為 use應該改為using會比較恰當, 至於你說的 to use是個不定詞, 而不定詞有"將,會" 的語氣, 可是句子的 have done 已經表示是已發生的事情, 所以用不定詞沒有比用動名詞來的好...
或者把句子倒裝來看:
Using all the materals at hand is what we've done here.
To use all the materals at hand is (what we've done here.)改成"what we're going to do"較佳

3. jump into the fray with a court stipulating that the principal be required to show cause
還原之後...
jump into the fray with a court which stipulates that the principal should be required to show cause
可知stipulating是which stipulates運用分詞句構減化而成的, 而 be required to 是省略了 "should" stipulate為"規定"的意思, 用法像意志動詞一樣, 後面接 that子句的should可以省略

4. 我覺得這種文法用主動被動來解釋不是很理想
不妨這樣想:
Ving表示"持續, 不間斷的動作"
V(p.p)則相反表示"短暫, 不持續進行"
I stand still with my eyes closed.
(閉眼是短暫的...如果用closing則畫面會變的很好笑"我可能花了一小時眼皮還不到眼睛的一半XD")
I ride bicycle with my hair blowing.
(blow"隨風飄動", 則是持續性的動作, 描述當騎腳踏車的時候頭髮不間斷的飄動的樣子)
