兩個詞性都是代名詞及形容詞
但是other有複數形others
another大多指二個中的一個A.另一個或B.再一個
A. Please give me another. 請給我另一個。
B. She bought another skirt.她又買了一件裙子。(之前已買了一件)
After compared, she bought another skirt.經過比較，她買了另一件。(依前後文
有不同意思)
other 較常用於A.多數中的一個或B.其它的
A. He has a child in Taipei, the others in Tainan.他有一個小孩在台北，其他的在台
南。
B. There are other way to go there. 到那裏有很多(其它的)途徑

現在桌上有五枝筆
隨便挑一枝...這個就是one
其他的就是others

其他的四支來說的話....(標號1.2.3.4)
第一個another
第二個another
第三個another
第四個the other(最後一個當然要限定，因為只剩一個)

another跟other的差別....
another中文上是說其他的...也就是說有無限多個(上面有舉例了)
other的話其實跟others差不多
現在有很多都把兩個混為一談了
但如果表示複數的話強烈建議要加 S
