英文有個詞蠻對味的: "the masses".
Longman英英字典對此一詞的解釋是:
the masses : all the ordinary people in society who do not have power or influence (社會中沒有權力或影響力的平凡人們)

不用想太多common people...普通人就可以了講得太文謅謅反而會讓看的人覺得奇怪
