It's difficult to choose a book if someone loves most of books, such as me.
Christopher Marlowe's Doctor Faustus is, truely a masterpiece.
I am fascinated with a brilliant scholar, Faustus, selling his souls to the devil in exchange for limitless knowledge and powerful black magic, yet still uncomplished. Besides, I was indulged in the ambition of one's seeking for higher position and power. Even Faustus calls Trojan Helen from below to sing her beauty. It's a perfect play but not easy for modern poeple to read for its' medieval English within.
Walt Whitman's Leaves of Grass also satisfied my knowledge of poems--One of the best poetry collections.
Therefore, W.Shakespeare, R.W.Emerson, E.A.Poe and most of writers of Greco-roman mythology and English and America Literature were also my favorite.

Scrooge is a cold hard man but he had finally realize that open his mind and be liberal to others is most significent. He found what he really need and gained true friends at the end.
