【老外上台灣的大學】請給我一些大學要求的資訊 【10點】

以下內容為一個網路上朋友寄給我的問題，內容大概為他想了解一個外國人是否只要簡單地考英文數學中文就可以進台灣的大學。想請各位好心人士幫忙找一些資料以便讓他更了解我們這邊的【學制】。(或著對外國人有比較特別的篩選模式?)

My friend, comin from indonesia, will go there, he has not studied chinese yet. he said that he will do 40 days of study and then take the test which consists of english, math and chinese. After that he said that he will enter the university if he scores good enough in this test. I wonder that the university requirement in Taiwan is as simple as that or it may require other kinds things, such as high school result, entrance examination, etc. Can you give me more details for these?

許多學校都有名額給外國學生入學(例如中山醫學大學牙醫學系https://csads.csmu.edu.tw/default.asp)，但是對於外國學生的定義須符合才行。
教育部鼓勵各大學開放名額(外加名額不影響台灣學生的權益)給外國學生以促進不同文化間之交流，一般對於外國學生的考試是比較關寬鬆。
