及回答台灣跟大陸的差異
用中文還可以
可是如何用英文解釋呢？

我不建議用樓上的方式來介紹我們臺灣。在臺灣內部要怎麼說對岸的不是都可以，但在跟外國人溝通時，貶低他人來抬高自己的方式往往適得其反。我們愈是強調自己優越，更顯得自傲，那和在國際間欺壓我們的「中國人」有和差別？

我建議你可以強調臺灣的特色和大陸之間的不同。

Politically, we are two different nations. Our president is voted by general public election whereas Chinese leader is appointed by Communist Party.
Culture wise, we come from same root, we both are part of Chinese culture group. However, China has been gone through Cultural Revolution and unfotunately, many traditional cultural values are lost and cannot be found in younger generation. In Taiwan, we remain a lot of elite Chinese culture and evolved and integrated into our own Taiwanese culture. You have to experience yourself by visiting us.
Economically, China is the world factory, their mass production make our daily products cheap. In Taiwan, we produce more high tech and higher value products. China used to be a threat to us in terms of economic competition. However, nowadays we treat them as business partners and lots of Taiwanese business have gone to mainland China to seek their expansion.
In religion, people in Taiwan enjoy the freedom of choosing your own religion. Currently, Buddhism, Taoism, Christian are main religions in Taiwan. However, religious activity is still a sensitive issue and most of people in China cannot express publicly what their beliefs are.

同樣都是說出事實，但不去奚落對方。老外的眼睛是雪亮的，他自己會去判斷你和對岸有何不同。讓我們一起為臺灣做好國民外交！

Just like us in Taiwan, many of the Taiwanese see the blondes as Americans, but are they all Americans? NoThis guy is trying to tell his friends Taiwanese are not Chinese in a persuasive langauge and yet you are trying to say no no we are pretty much the same but his friends need to figure it out
