大學指考的英文翻譯

Question

雖然本人並沒有參加大學指考，英文程度也不怎麼樣，
但今天在報紙上看到指考的英文翻譯時，仍\"手癢\"的試著翻譯，
想請有學問的大大們，幫我改正一下，謝謝。( ^_^ )
第一題：
為了提供無煙的用餐環境，許多餐廳都禁止在室內吸煙。
自己的解答：
For offer a non-smoking dining enviroment, many resturants forbid to smoke.
第二題：
雖然遭到許多癮君子的反對，這對不抽煙的人的確是一大福音。
自己的解答：
Though it was objected by many smoking people, but it\'s really a good news for others.

not allow 不允許 (forbid 是禁止,不要隨便改題目)
forbid+Ving

Ans:
To provide a non-smoking dining environment,

, smoking indoors is not allowed in many restaurants.
, many restaurants don't allow smoking indoors.

2.
Though雖然可以當連接詞和介系詞 ，不過這裡還是建議用Although開頭較好
object為不及物動詞，不用被動，請用主動，並加介係詞to，不過這樣算改題目
抽煙的人smokers 癮君子在前面加heavy/chain 不會講就寫a man who like to smoke
news當消息為不可數前面a請去掉
不抽煙的人non-smokers

Ans:
Although it is opposed by many people who like to smoke/heavy smokers,
　　　　heavy smokers object to it,

it's indeed/certainly/definately good news to/for those who don't.
　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　 non-smokers.

although跟but並不能在同句中並用！第2句有誤噢！第1句則少了is ( it is opposed....
