; Semi-colon（分號）→ 表示停頓比句號短，但比逗號長。
1. 可用於連接句子。
ex: Nobody in the party; it is still early.
2. 可用逗點極多的長句。
ex: Actually, the survey, conducted by Dr. Scully in Canada, discovered that people are happiest when they feel that they are in charge of their own lives; enjoy a close relationship with other individuals; believe they are doing well; and have strong beliefs in their own worth, rather than being worthless.

: Colon（冒號）→ 表示說話後的停頓。
1. 可用於解釋或評論語句的兩端。
ex: I have passed these subjects: Chinese, Chinese History, English, Human Biology and Music.
2. 可用於引出解釋或評論。
ex: This car stopped after only three miles: one tyre had broken.

─ Dash（破折號）↓
1. 表示後面還有解釋或評論。可用於解釋或評論語句的兩端。

2. 可用於一連串的名詞之前。
