營利主義和消費者主義
企業的經營無一不是以營利維目的-營利主義。汲汲營營的挖空心思就是如何將消費者的口袋中的財務轉化為企業的利潤。
早期的商業行為只一味的從生產下手,工廠的生產線從勞工密集的人力開始生產,因為產量有限,在需求大於供給的情況下,生產者以老大自居,在單位利潤最大化的驅使下,生產行為止於經營者的利潤需求,消費者在沒有經濟能立及沒得選擇的情況下,也只能迫於無奈的接受
但是經濟活動是一個紐動的曲線,在商業行為追求利潤極大化下,不斷的改良生產線,腦筋快的商人,更是引進國外的各式各樣的商品,形成熱絡的貿易。自然而然,消費市場上的商品不但量、樣式更是多樣化,一旦經濟活動熱絡,消費者的消費能力自然跟著增加,但現在的市場卻是供給大於需求,同樣的追求利潤最大化的企業:該如何去規劃他的利潤呢?消費者意識抬頭,消費行為取決於購買者的需求和眼光,實事求是的企業經營者,又如何能不了解這其中得奧妙嗎?為了迎合消費者的口味、為了討好消費者,生產線上的生產行為發生了不同的導向-也就是說生產的商品轉為以消費需求為依歸。
企業的營利行為和消費者的消費行為看似對立,其實是相輔相成的。沒有消費行為就不需生產了。沒有生產那消費行為也僅止於早期的自給自足罷了。企業要汲取最大的營利就要有最大化的消費族群,想當然爾,消費者主義才能橫行於二十一世紀的商業大道上。
