"點石成金" = 古時候是一種仙術或鍊金術，用手指或靈丹將石頭點化成黃金。《西遊記．第四四 回》：「我那師父，呼風喚雨，只在翻掌之間；指水為油，點石成金，卻如轉身之易。」 後來引伸語意為化腐朽為神奇的意思，因此接近直譯的 turning stones into gold就可以囉例子：＊＊Immortal Lu said, "Then I do not wish to learn the techniques of turning stones into gold. If the gold is not permanent, then what I do now will have harmful effects five hundred years later.
