看星星~的"看"是用 gaze唷?
look? look at? read? watch? 這些不行嗎? @@

2.It has been very hot recently,so many people open air conditions to make them cool.

devastate 是動詞
除了 gaze，為何不用 look at 或 see？watch 其實也可以，請參考下面的連結：

Open 要改成 turn on 也可以用

read and watch 不能當做看星星 eg: read a book, watch a movie. 我會用 gaze 因為這自是專用來看風景

這應該是因果句型
還有these days不能與現在完成式連用
所以如果一定要用現在完成式的話 要改成recently
改成
It has been very hot recently,so many people open air conditions to make them cool.
也許改成這樣會比較好吧

It has been very hot these days, and many people HAVE TURNED ON THE AIR CONDITIONERS to cool themselves.
