Joan Baez（瓊拜雅） 是嬉皮年代以反越戰出名的民歌手。抱著她的吉他到處宣揚反戰與自由思想。她曾經分別以英文與德文錄唱 Where have All the Flowers Gone（花兒哪裡去了？）。歌詞大意是說：花而哪裡去了？女孩們摘去了，女孩哪裡去了？男孩帶走了，男孩哪裡去了？男孩當阿兵哥去了，阿兵哥哪裡去了？住進墳場裡了，墳場哪裡去了？被花兒蓋住了。Joan Baez 當年唱這首歌固然有反戰的意味，就今日較時髦的觀點來看，這部不就是生態運作的道理？人取之於自然，最後仍回歸自然，一切都難逃自然的輪迴。除了這首歌外，她唱的另一首 Donna, Donna 也滿有意思的。
