He only graduated from elementary school, but he now became the king of management. 這裡我改為經營之王，英文中若是指某人有獨霸某一方的才能或經歷大多是用"king"     另外，於此經營最好改為 "business operation"，不過基於你說要儘量簡單的字，我還是先使用 "management"他曾經說過：「成功的關鍵完全在於自己的努力」He once said, "The key to success depends completely on one's own effort." 每個人都知道努力的重要性，然而實際能夠做到人並不多，這也就是他為什麼能夠成功的原因Everyone knows the importance of hardwork, but there are very few who can actually achieve it; this is why he was able to succeed. 學歷並不代表一切，昔日的米店小工如今也能成為富翁Educational background does not mean everything, a previously rice shop worker can also become a rich man.

因為發問者說 "昔日"，我覺得用 "previously" rice shop worker 會比較貼近那意思， 這可以做為 "a person who worked as a rice shop worker previously" 的簡短句。"previously" 是 Adv 而非 Adj要是用 "previous rice worker" 就會變成 "之前的米店小工"，意思便不對了。若是用形容詞的話使用 "FORMER RICE SHOP WORKER" 便簡單又好記了。

The person I adore most is Wany Yung-Ching who had only graduated from primary schoo but became god of the management. He ever said:" The key to success depends on ones hard work." Everyone knows the importance of endeavor,but not much people can actually do it. This is the main reason to why he succeeded, education does not represent everthing, once working as aworker in a rice shop can also be a millionaire.

He once said "The key to success lies in his own endeavor", every one knows this truth but only few of them achieve this goal. That is also the reason why he succeed in his career.
