They need to understand that people doing things they don\'t like are not necessarily bad people.

who doing
who does
did

為什麼不能用"who does"?

They need to understand that people doing things they don't like are not
necessarily bad people.
= They need to understand that people (who do things they don't like) are
not necessarily bad people.
who do things they don't like
they need to understand that....
people (who do things they don't like)
are not necessarily bad people 不一定是壞人.
people who do things they don't like 省略了 who, 因此後面的動詞要改成
doing.

1. You have to be careful when you cross the street.
---> you have to be careful when crossing the street.
2. I don't like to see people who eat while they are walking.
---> I don't like to see people eating while walking.

所以用do 不用does.

They need to understand that people doing things they don't like are not necessarily bad people.

people (who are) doing things

who doing 少了are
who does people是複數,應該要用do

They need to understand that people "who does/do" things they don't like are not necessarily bad people.

「They need to understand that」:他們必須了解(了解什麼呢?that後面接名詞子句說明。)

「people doing things they don't like」是後面那個名詞子句的主詞

「doing things they don't like」則是用來形容前面的people,為形容詞子句

剩下的部分「are not necessarily bad people.」:並不一定就是壞人。

They need to understand that people (who are) doing things they don't like are not necessarily bad people.

修飾people

其中people (who are) doing things they don't like~就是(做自己不喜歡的事的人們)
