關於精神病患者觀念的英文翻譯(15點)

「精神病是一種原罪，精神病患者都是犯罪者」這個錯誤觀念仍然普遍存在於社會，使得多少患者因為不願意成為別人眼中的「犯罪者」，而忌諱就醫，導致他們難以重見光明，甚至自殺，枉送性命。希望能盡量翻譯得貼近中文原意。我很好奇「枉送」要怎麼講。

「枉送」= 枉然…= To struggle in vain. 枉送性命= To die in vain.「精神病是一種原罪，精神病都是犯罪者」這個錯誤觀念仍然普遍存在於社會.“The mental disease is the original sin; all the mental patients are criminals.” The incorrect concept is still a comment thought in the society.使得多少患者因為不願意成為別人眼中的「犯罪者」，而忌諱就醫，導致他們難以重見光明，甚至自殺，枉送性命。Therefore, most of the mental patients would rather be called a criminal than go to see a psychologist.  It has made the patients to hide from the brightness, indeed, and commit to suicide to die in vain.

你引申得太遠了，難以重見光明並不一定是遠離人群，而是被心中那道隱形的牢籠關住，他們當然會接近人群，但是他們的世界還是黑暗的。不是有人說"在人群中感到寂寞"嗎？類似的意思。

你可以說弄顛倒了。
我是說這些精神病患"不願意看醫生"，因為看了醫生別人就知道他有病，於是他就被視為犯罪者，而"他不要當犯罪者"。
所以不是"寧可被視為犯罪者，也不要看醫生"，而是"不想被視為犯罪者，所以不看醫生"。

“Psychosis is an original sin” or ”people with mental illness are all criminals “, such false thinking still exists in the society, nowadays! Many people with mental illness are not willing to go to see the doctors because they don’t want to be deemed as criminals. That resulted in the hesitation of approaching to the public, Moreover, many of them committed a suicide, losing their lives in vain!
