請問在台灣先考托福or在國外唸語言學校...孰者較好?

因為今年四學就要改成IBT的新制 雖然不曾考過 但覺得比以前更不易應付
請問各位先進 在國外唸語言學校 會不會比在台灣先考托福好?

基本上很多大學研究所雖然你先修了語言學校但還是要考過學校要求的托福標準or該學校的語文測驗所以並不會更好應付且會花上更多的生活費用...等等在台灣先考托福 省錢省時間台灣的補習班很強的相信補習班對IBT會弄出一套應考方式我會建議您 試著先在台灣考考看托福看看您的成績大概多少分再做決定^^ps.看過ㄧ堆ABC或是小留學生回來補習托福或GMAT更多亞洲學生在語文學校混兩三年混到全校都認識他

個人認為先在台灣考過托福後再出國
對留學生比較好,
畢竟語言學校所上的是以增加實力培養為主,
並不會上有關考托福的課程。
留學生不僅課業上辛苦,
心情上也會有挫折感。
先在台灣把托福考過,到當地就專讀博碩士的課程。
不僅學費較省學習力也能集中。不管是自修或補習,其實台灣的補習班也都會彙整考情試題,我想一定對考生有所幫助的。

滿贊成先考再出國
因為與其花時間在語言學校
我會更建議先考完托福,然後去college上課~
邊上課邊學英文~這樣反而會學更快
到語言學校的話,到時候身邊的人可能都不是當地人
這樣反而學的更慢唷

i didn't take the exam, but i had a pre-exam course. it helped u to analysis the questions. and i only applyied for community college, therefore the requirement was easier than others (i only have a junior college degree in tw). it took me 1.5 yrs to finish a AA degree then i transfered to univ.
some states still have quater sys schools--it means shorter time to study or to graduate from ESL prog. if ur english isn't very good at all, the quater system sys schools helps u. of courses, it may cost more then semester sys schools. in my case, i only needed to pass internal entrance exam (when i was in last level of ESL courses), then i became the college student (i took ESL and college courses at the same time). in addition, u don't have to get a AA degree for tranfering, u only need to have some college credits to move on.
if u can find any school which is willing to offer u a conditional admission. u may condsider to accept this offer, but be aware of that, u have to pass their requirement laterly.
by the way, most big cities have Cram school-such as Far East Language centre (a famuse one in china) to teach u how to prepare for the exam.

agree w/Eunice, better to stay in Tw to take Toefl, much easier!!! Btw, IBT won't be any harder if you study the English in the right way, even more it gonna be more easier~~~
