每首歌曲背後都有一段動人的故事
搖滾音在樂史上，被推崇為「吉他之神」的Eric Clapton(艾瑞克萊普頓)
一直到50歲時才老來得子，他這位當年年才4歲的兒子Conor，在1991年3月20日在紐約的自家公寓 從53樓的陽台意外墬樓身亡，悲痛之情可想而知。傷心之餘他依然全心投入電影「Rush/迷途枷鎖」配樂創作，艾力克萊普頓也把他痛失骨肉的心情寫成了「Tears In Heaven/淚灑天堂」收錄在電影原聲帶之中。隔年這首思念愛子之作在美國發行單曲獲得白金唱片的肯定，1992年3月艾力克萊普頓在MTV台的不插電演唱會上再度獻唱這首「淚灑天堂。」，真摯動人的吉他現場演唱，令在場的聽眾頻頻拭淚。同年8月份唱片公司也推出這張演唱會的「Unplugged」專輯，光是在美國就狂銷了700萬張，隔年更在葛萊美獎頒獎典禮上大放異彩
