官方網站提供的規則請參考下列連結：http://www.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/mlb/official_info/official_rules/objectives_1.jsp其中1.10 (a)的部份就提到了球棒的相關規定，The bat shall be a smooth, round stick not more than 2 3/4 inches in diameter at the thickest part and not more than 42 inches in length.所以根據規定球棒不能超過42英吋，也就是106.68公分。
