請問各位這些英文的解釋是什麼?要怎麼區分呢(or用法)?有什麼相同或不同的地方嗎?
alliteration, assonance, consonance, end rhyme, slant rhyme, slack syllables, end-stopped

alliteration (L. ad 'to' + littera 'letter''; 頭韻): Repetition of the same or similar consonant (子音/輔音) sound at the beginning of a word, e.g. 'Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers.' 也就是說,押得同樣的子音,也就是讀起來覺得差不多的音!而開頭都是同一個字母,就是押頭韻!
assonance (L. ad 'to' + sonare 'sound'; 'to sound in answer'; 半諧音): Repetition of vowel (母音/元音) sounds, e.g. 'They flee from me that sometime did me seek.'.
半諧音呢,也就是押音音的韻。像這個例子,flee的ee,和me的e,seek的ee是同樣的韻。
consonance (L. com 'with' + sonare 'to sound'; 輔音韻): Repetition of inner or end consonant sounds, e.g. the r and s in 'broods with warm breast'.
輔音韻,也就是押裡面或是最後的音。broods with warm breasts,裡的r和s。
end rhyme,尾韻,也就是押最後的一個韻,比較像中文的形式。看最後一個音。Example:
Roses are red (red gets "A" as its designation)
Violets are blue (blue gets "B" because it does not rhyme with red)
End rhyme scheme is fun (fun gets "C" because it doesn't rhyme with red or blue)
And so are you! (you gets "B" because it rhymes with blue)
很明顯的,第二句和第四句的最後,一個是blue,一個是you,都有押韻。所以他們的句型是ABCB。
slant rhyme (half, approximate, imperfect, near, off, oblique) provides an approximation of the sound: cat, cot; hope, cup; defeated, impeded。就是押比較像的音,像hope和cup,聽得出來嗎?
slack syllables, end-stopped ,這兩個我就不太清楚了,希望我上面說的你看得懂…^^
