是指「三分之四」嗎？
「三分之四」的英文可以是 four-thirds 也可以是 four over three，後者在大數目和科學領域上較多用。
例如：
一百一十七分之一百一十六，用
one hundred and sixteen over one hundred and seventeen 就比用
one hundred and sixteen-one hundred and seventeenths 清楚多了。
如果分母是個細小的數目，則多用序數表示，如：
1/2 ~~~ one-half
1/3 ~~~ one-third
2/3 ~~~ two-thirds
1/4 ~~~ one-quarter
3/4 ~~~ three-quarters
1/5 ~~~ one-fifth
22/7 ~~~ twenty-two-sevenths
