我有看到一句不太會翻的一句，麻煩幫我訂正，順便幫我解解答！
He said that the air if the mountains of Vermont was so clear that the echo of a voice was five times as strong as the original voice.
它說他在佛蒙特山上空聽到很清楚的回音，比五個時期的聲音還要大聲。
翻的真爛，有看沒有懂。
five times 的times 是時期，是5個時期嗎？還是5小時？還是回音有5次？不太瞭這一句，希望可以有高明的可以幫我好好的詳盡分析，謝謝！

在上句中，times應該是<倍>的意思，所以five times是五倍的意思。
