我在美加這兩國常聽到的是用“Cheat”這個字。
在美國有一個很有爭議性的現場節目叫“Jerry Springer Show”，這個節目的場面常常會失控也相當火爆。有一次就找了一些劈腿族來現身說法，劈腿族所說的就是“I'm Cheating on Her/Him.”

不過用“Cheat”這個字，通常是指兩人的關係已經非常親蜜了，像是已結婚的男女，或是已有親蜜關係的男女朋友，劈腿用“Cheat”這個字就很恰當。

cheat是背叛的意思，和批腿想表達的意思不太一樣。雖然批腿就表示你背叛別人但意思好像比較強調同時和多人有關係。我才會覺得two-timer比較適合。
