第三者＝ intruder (闖入者）如果「第三者」只是單純指你、我以外的「第三者」，而無「破壞他人和諧關係」的意涵的話，英文就是 " third party"。如果「第三者」是指「闖入」別人之間的和諧關係，造成一方當事人不快的人。英文可以這樣表達： "Taking the advangtage of her beauty, Nancy always act as an intruder to the itimate relationship between her cousin Mary and her boy friends. " 南西經常利用她的美色，成為闖入表妹瑪麗與她男朋友們親密關係的第三者。

如果是要說 電燈泡的意思的話 那就是 the third wheel (第三個輪)
如果純粹第三者 (情夫情婦 ....etc...)
