不好意思~我訂正一下
1.
In junior high school, when I got in touch with English for the first time,.......
第一次接觸通常用for the first time，解釋為「第一次」
2.
如果用「At the first time」，
At the first time (when) I got in touch with English in junior high school, .....
這裡的「At the first time」，是時間副詞 可以省略(When)~
這裡的「got in touch」是「get in touch」的過去式
代表接觸~(可以解釋為第一次認識~學習)
兩種用法都可以~
不過建議是用第一種方法~比較好一點

At the first time I studied English when I was in junior high, ............
註: 此處的"接觸",個人不傾向於把它翻為"contact",
因為句中已說"第一次", 表示對英文仍很生疏,
所以我會希望能夠用"study"(學習)這個字來表示.
