如題，剛在英文學習的電子報看到一句:
"Sure, but does he have to do that?".......
*does後面加原形動詞的話，不是he has才對嬤? 難道原形動詞不用分人稱?
*還有一首很有名的英文歌(Rhythm of the rain)歌詞也是文法怪: .... rain please tell me now does that seem fair? For her to steal my heart away when she DON'T care...."

呵呵呵... 不好意思，Gary真是一語驚醒夢中人，可以如果不是"have to"的片語時，難道have才是原形，has不是原形!? 我只是無法接受有一天he會接have....

請留意一下have to, 意思是一定要,
所以這並不與grammar 相關....
does he have to ......? =他是否一定要.....的意思!!!!

一個比較簡單的想法就是用Does問問題的時候就不要用has,
Did也是,您不會用:Did you drank wine?而是:Did you drink wine?

其實一般我們的英文句子如 she runs 或者 he eats, 原來的format是 she does run, he does eat. 但為了方便而化簡而已。如果是一般statement的話，he has就對了，但因為是問題，而問題裡面已經有does去表示第三人稱，所以應該用have.
或者你可以這樣看，
she runs = she does run, 想變成問題的話就把does 和she的word order倒轉，成為 does she run?
其他的問題也可以這樣做，如 she has finished = has she finished?
he slept= he did sleep = did he sleep?
最後，一般歌詞的英文不是太著重語法，重要的是詞和音是否配合，所以歌詞裡雖然寫著 she don"t care, 但文法不正確的，應該是she doesn"t care才對

grammar is not really a matter in lyric... as long as it's not a piece of literature :)wrong grammar is fine....the lyric needs to fit into the melody..
