บรรยากาศมาคุเริ่มครอบคลุมคำถามนี้แล้วหรือเปล่าครับ
ผมว่าเราคุยกันใจเย็น ๆ สักนิดไหมครับ แบบจิบกาแฟไปคุยไป
ผมเข้าใจนะว่ามันก็เป็นความรู้สึกลึก ๆ ของเราน่ะครับ มีไม่พอใจอะไรบางทีเราก็อยากคุย

คนเราแต่ละคนก็มีความเห็นแตกต่างกันไป เขามีสิทธิ์จะคิดอย่างนั้น แต่ก็ไม่ได้หมายความว่ามันจริงเสมอไป ผมก็เป็นคนไทย ไม่เห็นด้วยกับอะไรอย่างนั้นหรอกครับ แต่เราเคารพซึ่งกันและกันนะครับ

Ok. ผมอยากพิมพ์ตอบเป็นภาษาไทยมากเลย แต่พิมพ์ช้ามาก เขียนเอาเร็วกว่า
ผมเคยไปอบรมหลักสูตรการระว่างประเทศที่ประเทศมาเลเซียและสิงค์โปร์ Ok. I think typing English is much faster for me I do 80 words a minutes but in Thai it's about 80 minutes a word.
Firstly, this is historical fact. Singapore become a country in about 1969 (either 65 or 69) because there was a strong drive against Chinese in Malaysia. The thing was there was an election and because there were so many Muslim parties the Muslim votes then split and Chinese political party won. As they about to form a Chinese government in Malaysia, the Malay called off the election as void, and called for a new election. The Muslim party united into one party I think called UMNO (united Malay something..) to avoid the vote split. The Chinese were really angry because the Muslim Malay didn't play fair, and started to paint Muslim mosques with pig oil (น้ำมันหมู). The Muslim Malay got really pissed, and since they were mostly civil servants, they control police and military (i.e. guns), they start shooting at the Chinese! Hence the exodus of Chinese went to Singapore and formed a country of then something like 2 million or less people (now there are 3.6 million people). Ever since, there has been suspicious between these two countries, and Singapore has been building assurance against Malaysia by siding with Thailand, and the US from times to times. Thai and Australian Military train Singapore Army. Singapore buys large stockpile of weapon and mostly keep it with the US (which is really a puzzle to me: well they stock some at home as well).
Going back to the training I went on, which was supported by all ASEAN six governments then, the Malaysians and Singaporean always fight over their dispute territories or the many issues as they were close neighbour. Well, Malaysia has many issues with Thailand as well. The mentality is that every times the Singaporean raises any issues concerning Malaysians, the Malaysians paint Thailand as a Bogey man to scare off the Singaporeans, which has never worked. But, now that there’s an anti-Singaporean sentiment in Thailand, it just might work.
Now, my view is that Singaporeans are just so few in numbers (out of 3.6 million, a little more than half could be a true Singaporean the rest are like just immigrated Chinese from HK or China, and Malay from Malaysia or Indonesia). I think the composition of the people in Malaysia is 45% Malay, 35% Chinese and 10% Indians. The only way for the Singaporeans to survive is to work hard in which case they do.
My point is that Thailand doesn’t even have to give a damn to these two countries because they can’t do much to Thailand in term of damages. The problem is Thailand is standing still in development for the moment, and probably for the last 7 years. Still, Singapore and Malaysia did cope with the 1997 crises better than we do financially. We, Thais, need to stop fighting internally and start to work hard and develop our country. The problem in the Muslim south should be solved without much difficulty. But, if we still ignore the problems, corrupt, and not develop ourselves; we will be much behind, China, Vietnam, Indonesia, and of course outrun by Singapore and Malaysia.
