Amo el metal en general, pero entre mis favoritos esta el gothic...porque? porque combina toda la fuerza y potencia caracteristica del metal con la melancolía, tristeza, letras e inclusive voces del movimiento gótico. También me facinan el doom y el death.

para mi hay dos generos: me gusta, no me gusta, ja ja.
Pero respondiendo tu pregunta, me encanta el metal gotico, y sí, totalmente desubicado ese Dany "the... al decir que se lo debe sacar, deberias informarte un poquito chiquitin ja ja.
y ni hablar, Nigthwish es lo maximo.
tambien me gusta el black (no tanto el true).
y tambien me gusta bandas como metallica, maiden, megadeth, judas, etc.

Pues la neta a mi me late y me quedo con el Power y el Trash. Claro que primero están los iniciadores del metal en los 70's!

nada mejor que las fuentes mismas del genero, la NWOBHM
maiden, saxon, tygers of pang tang, angel witch, holocaust, quartz,etc. Aunque en los ultimos años para mi lo mejor del metal ha salido del progresivo y el power: dream theather, kamelot, rhapsody, labyrinth,etc.
Recomendble tambien es el thrash de los ochentas: slayer, metallica(80's), mortal sin, kreator, sodom, forbidden, death angel, sanctuary y un largo etc.
pd: slipknot, limp bizkit y similares no son heavy metal y nunca lo seran, respeten esta musica y a quienes realmente disfrutamos de ella y no la vemos como mera pose o estilo de vestirse.

en cuanto a deaht metal un grupo muy bueno es carcass,new metal slipknot.grupos como cradle of filth es muy bueno,dimmu borgir es el mejor,y tambien en new metal mudvayne.bueno esos son unos pocos

Hola, mira yo no le pongo etiquetas si me gusta la banda la escucho, escucho desde AC/DC, SOAD, Megadeth, Mudvayne, White Zombie, Slayer, Iron Maiden, Danzig, 10 Years,Godsmack, Rage Against the Machine, Pantera, Hatebreed, Disturbed, Black Label Society etc..
