i've never asked anything of him and he has never given me anything like a present or so. he tells me abt this and that problem but i don't complain. he introduced me to his relatives and says he wants to marry me in the future. he works and i am a student though he wants to get another job. Is he selfish?

it may seem a little strange he may basically be hoping that you are happy with him even if he doesn't buy you presents and things, but even most people do at some point
he may be being selfish or he may just be insecure that you don't love him enough so may sure he knows that you love him for who he is and not just presents and things
may after a while if you both feel secure enough, jsut bring it up and maybe ask him what hios meaning for this was, ad tlel him how you feel. if you don't think along the same lines, you may not be right for each other, but that is most probably not the case

5months it's earlier that's you think overall if you are a student you need both of you to build your love step by step it's the best way to be sure that he is not selfish time and experience are your best friends just wait your birthday and see what he will do even a simple rose can change your feeling !!! good luck and tell us about you soon
