- "Don't You (Forget About Me)" de Simple Minds para "The Breakfast Club" (1985).
- Los sentidos souls del film "The Commitments" (1991).
- Una de locas, "The Crying Game" de Boy George, para el film homónimo de 1992.
- Otro clásico de Dylan, "Knocking On Heaven's Doors", esta vez en versión de Guns N' Roses para la película "Days Of Thunder" (1990).
- "This Is Not America" del Pat Metheny Group con David Bowie para "The Falcon And The Snowman" (1985) (se merecía el Oscar, la pucha).
- "Against All Odds (Take A Look At Me Now)" por Phil Collins para "Against All Odds" (1984) (otro Oscar perdido).
