si vamos a hablar de rock y Heavy podemos decir: The Beatles, Rolling Stones, The Hollies,The who, Pink Floyd, Cream, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Black Sabath ( de estos ultimos cuatro se podria decir que son los pioneros del heavy), Ac/Dc, Chuck Berry (el verdadero rey del rock and Roll), Carl Perkins, Kiss, Queen, Creedence Clear Water Revival, Bad Company, Free, Alice Cooper.... y hay un monton mas pero estos que te nombro son de los mejores.
