Hay tantos generos como se te ocurran pero casi siempre los agrupan en secciones como deportes, moda, espectaculos, economia, etc.
Los dos sitios mas consultados en cuanto a contenido fotografico editorial son www.corbis.com y www.gettyimages.com.

CREO QUE LO QUE BUSCAS ES FOTOREPORTAJE (FOTOPERIODISMO),
EN ESTA LOS GÉNEROS SON LA NOTICIA, DEPORTES, LA ENTREVISTA, DOCUMENTAL, NOTA ROJA, NO RECUERDO MAS PERO LO MEJOR QUE PUEDES HACER ES BUSCAR IDENTIFICARLAS POR SEPARADO PARA ENTENDER QUE ES LO QUE TIENES QUE BUSCAR PARA OBTENER CADA UNA Y NO PERDERTE Y MEZCLARLAS.
