Je suis Americaine mais j'adore les gens francaise. J'etait dans France deux fois et toute le monde sont tres gentile avec moi. Ma question: C'est veritez que le gens de France n'aimez pas les Americaines? Et por quoi? J'espere que vous parlez anglaise parce que je voudrai express ma sentiments dans anglais, pardon s'il vous plait. I know my French is horrible I'm truly sorry. I posed my question in the US circuit, however, the responses I received were not from the French, but from Americans. I would really like to hear from the French people. Is it true that the French dislike Americans? If that is the case, is it because of the way our government represents us? Or is it perhaps because many Americans are too open about their feelings and find themselves having to apologize for idiotic things they've said? Lately the news has been bombarded with Anna Nicole Smith. She was flamboyant and ruthless to say the least. Do the French think all Americans are like her? Merci!

French do not hate the Americans. You are a nation which we respect. However the government Bush belongs to the antipodes of our democratic rules. The expression: " the axis of the evil ", me made shiver. It seems to me that it is a representation in the paroxysm of the extremism.What is shocking, it is that this person engages his(her) fellow countrymen in a war by pleading to follow a Christian logic. I am of catholic confession, and I do not see what the faith has to make in this conflict. It is offensive. More the virulantes criticisms (political personalities, stars) diffused on our chaines broadcast towards French contributed to a reaction of incomprehension of our part.
Then, there was all the boycots face to face of France (tourism and French products).
It can explain a certain bitterness.. However, the majority of the French do not make the mixture between the government Bush and the American people.
I gave you my opinion. I hope that my English will be understandable. The Americans are welcome in France.
I find your very brave initiative. You show a big opening of spirit.

I think that french people hate Bush and his team...not American people...
And more, the french people hate that the USA represents, fast food, cars very dirty, commercial movies (the cinéma is an art, none a sell product).. a bad way of life...
Usa had been crtic with French people, then Chirac had say "No" for the Iraq War.. but today, American people awake up...
And more, we are afraid of yours fanatics religions (all your sect), and yours laws (Smoke in the street prohibed (NY), avortment prohibed in such states, etc...
But we like the people who search his ancestors in France and in Europe...
But, your are us child, and betwenn us is a long love story...

Don't worry: Most of us do like american people!!! Your feeling may be troubled by the fact many french don't agree with your politic leaders...For us for exemple; a majority didn't agree the way the Iraq war was engaged...And immediatly America reacted by blackmailing us...At the end no weapons of mass destruction
have ever been found;and by now; even a certain amount of your citizens start to find out this war was a mistake....
As a foreigner I feel I'm not allowed to criticize U.S politics..
We are just certainly all concerned that we feel more unsafe now than before this war; as it generated more hate towards the occident;from certain muslims organisations..
I don't feel you would have to apologize for anything ..We should
apologize our side for some of our extrêmists who claim being
against Americans a stupid way...But here; like everywhere;we do have fair people...And unfortunatly idiots too !!! So when you come; you will have to find out who you are talking with...

l administration bush et son arrogance ,ont tout fait pour detruire l image de l amerique j ai visiter ce pays deux fois et je l ai aimer tu trouves de tout ,tu rencontres des gens du monde entier ce n est qu au texas ou au fin fond des usa que tu rencontres des gens qui ressemblent a bush.mii j ai surtout aimer la region de seattle quand bush est aller faire la guerre en irak et que la france conscient de l embourbement qui aller y avoir n a pas participer on a bien boycotter les produits francais aujourdhui on en consomme bien plus,tout s arrangeras il faut que bush et les faucons du pentagone rentrent dans leurs ranch
