Mejor aprende de donde sale esto:
1 KB = 1024 bytes
1 MB = 1048576 bytes o (1024kb) o (1024 * 1024 bytes)
1 GB = 1073741824 bytes o (1024 MB) o (1024 * 1024 * 1024 bytes)
y así para y TB (Terabyte), etc.
Otra forma de verlo sería:
1 KB = 2^10 bytes
1 MB = 2^20 bytes
1 GB = 2^30 bytes
