Hallo Gaia.
Here I am, reading this site to practise my Italian and I see this question from you, in English.
First, may I apologise to you for the rude replies you got when you sent your nice New Year message to us in England? Honestly, not all English people are like that.
To answer your question, I am a father and a grand-father. I can say for sure that if the children are bad, it is almost always the fault of the parents. So I feel sorry for the teenagers - even though they make me angry sometimes.
Ciao ciao.
