In France the Prime Minister is not elected, he is chosen by the President of The Republic, who is elected every 5 years (since 1998 if i'm right) The next election will happen in April 2007 the candidates are entering now in Campain, the main Candidates are Nicolas Sarcozy and Segolène Royal...A famous Actor died recently, Philippe Noiret who played parts in a hundred films...

geeez... hard to answer that question! A great actor named Philippe Noiret died recently. He was involved in many movies projects as "les ripoux".
The prime minister in France is nominated by the president of the country, depending on which political party won the elections for the parliament. The prime minister belongs to the side which have the majority of its member elected. These elections occure every 5 years.
Besides this, the president is elected every 5 years and the next elections are to take place next year in may.

In France, Prime Minister does not get elected, the President give him the job... It was in may 2005...

fyi...the prime minister is not really elected in france...
there are election in 2007 to have a new president, and, once the president is elected, he (or she) will choose the prime minister, then, the prime minister will choose all the different ministers for the goverment.
