I can’t imagine holding such a contradiction: I have faith that God exists and at the same time I have proof that God exists. Doesn’t proof disqualify faith? If I have faith, I don’t need proof. If I have proof, why have faith? Do I need to have faith in the existence of a place called New York? No, I have proof and evidence it exists. But I do need faith to believe that there is a place called Hell, or Pradise.

Don't you agree?

For my opinion, faith and proof. are strictly correlated. But the question is: what Faith, what religion?
If i simply believe in God existence, anyway i'm asking what He want done from me...there's no escape.
When somedoby "knows" that God exist, the question is: what religion? Or no religion, meaning that i'm following right ways in according with my own faith and coscience, without other influences of religions?

So, what do you think about this? What God want from you?
Wich religion you prefer? I'm curious about your opinion about God...
If you want, i can mail you...and you the same, in order to deepen this topic...do you agree?

Bye!

Of course, IT exists, the proof it's NOW in my WC. Why don't you come and see (and taste) it? flavour: chocolate.

there is no contradiction.... on the contrary, I believe everyone has to search for evidence. Jesus said "seek and you will find" and he was not referring to material needs. The "talents" we are given, and have to give back multiplied, are just our brain and reason.... let's have enough faith to start our quest.

Esatto !

However you can have faith, so that God would operate in your acceptance...

sure, it's a big contradiction... this is why "faith" means: believe without having a proof. i don't have faith and i think we'll never have evidence that God exists, but I know that we'll forever try to.

Your question is strange.
It's better that you ask yourself why you exist and why the universe exist. If the answr for you is God, your faith must be stronger than the proof. If your faith isn't stronger than the proof, you have to speak with a preist.
Homewever for me the proof doesn't disqualify faith if your faith is true.
