Does anyone know specifically the name of the quarry (carriere)? The massacre occurred at the end of the Paris Commune. (Vous pouvez repondre en francais).

I believe you're talking about the "wall of the federates" (le mur des fédérés), located at the Père Lachaise cemetery.
147 "commune fighters" took refuge at the cemetery. The versaillese troops, which took possession of the place, lined up the communards against this wall and shot them.

This cemetery is more famous now for being the last home of many stars, among them Jim Morrison from The Doors.

There are several places : the gardens of Luxembourg, the Butte Montmartre and the Mur des Fédérés (Federates' wall) in the Père Lachaise graveyard are the most important ones. For your exact question I would say that the Mur des Fédérés seems to be the right answer.
