Pour une efficace accrue pour certains type de virus, il vaut mieux désactiver la restauration du système sous XP/2000/2k3 (de façon temporaire)

Un antivirus gratuit pour le PARTICULIER, tu peux installer Avast , mais il est bridé dans certains modules, tel que le parefeu (impossibilité d’ouvrir un numéro de port précis, ou d’indiquer quel protocole utiliser, il faut alors acheter la version pro) :

Je te conseille plutôt de télécharger la version d’essai (30j) d’un produit payant (utilise non pas le bouton achat en ligne, mais téléchargement) le « pc cillin internet security », regarde ces caractéristiques, je connais peu d’antivirus capable de vérifier les failles de sécurité de l’OS et du pack office. Il a une sécurité réseau et Wifi. Un anti-spam est plein d’autre choses utiles…En plus les mises à jours sont très rapide car de petites tailles (à part la première mise à jour), elle sont nombreuses parfois plus de 5 par jour (donc un antivirus qui est mis à jour pour la détection de tous nouveaux virus) , voici le lien de la version 2007, compatible 2000 et XP (hélas, plus win95 et win98) :
