sand is a mix of different compounds, it has not a chemical name
but it compose by salts (a lot) and carbonates

Forget about the nimrods who says write in spanish if u r confortable doing it in English go fot it!!.......ok related to your Question...the main composition of sand its silicon SiO2 88-99% but depending of your geographical location could contain a lot of differents elements starting from salts of iron, chromium and others and even Uranium.
