¡Hola! En Venezuela se llama cayena. Las hay "sencillas" de cinco pétalos (la variedad que comúnmente aparece en las tables y ropa de surfistas) y "compuestas". Sus colores van desde blanco hasta el rojo muy fuerte, casi sangre. El nombre científico es Hibiscus spp.
En Wikipedia tienes mucha información sobre estas flores. Igualmente en www.trop-hibiscus.com y www.fgrancanariaweb.com hay unas fotos bellísimas.

Se llama Pacífico aquí por España, sin embargo el nombre científico es "Hibiscus spp", aqui te mando un enlace para que compruebes si hablamos de la misma flor :)

la flor de los surfistas y la ropa onda playera es el Ibisco, o mas bien ibiscus, es una flor de climas mas bien cálidos es muy bonita y hay variedad de colores desde blancas, rojas, amarillas, rosadas, hasta una mas bien azul

Efectivamente se trata del hibiscus. Tambien conocido como flor de cayena, rosa china, rosa de siria, rosa de saron... todos esos nombres tiene, y alguno mas.

Es la flor nacional de mi pais Republica Dominicana, es de clima tropicales y muy comun en el caribe, aqui tambien se le dice Sangre de Cristo por el color rojo intenso de sus petalos.
