Sicuramente ti riferisci a "Full Metal Jackett" in cui interpretava la recluta Lennart Lawrence, più nota come "Palla di Lardo", a proposito di grandi registi scomparsi nel film "Ed Wood" D'Onofrio interpreta il grande regista e attore Orson Wells.

mmm...credo ti stia riferendo a Full Metal Jacket, di KUbrick, però secondo me ce n'è anche un'altro: Men In Black!! lui è Edgar,il contadino che l'alieno-piattola svuota e di cui indossa la pelle per andare in giro... mitica la scena con la moglie dai capelli rossi!!!

Non so se è il suo film più famoso ma io ricordo la sua eccezionale interpretazione in "The cell" con Jennifer Lopez. Davvero terrificante!!!!!!!!
