well, there's Britain and then there's the rest of Europe...seems a bit weird to me sometimes...but you get used to it.

people in the northern part of germany talk a funny accent, they like to stretch the e's and replace t's with d's, besides they use some strange words...
oh, and there's a sea, called nordsee. don't miss hamburg-city by the way.

Yes I understand english fluently...American English...I know you Brits don't consider this english...but we love our friends there "over the pond".

If you don't talk (too much) slang, yes.
I like the Brits, especially the scotch Brits ;-) and their (your) country and historic buildings. But I don't understand your fanatism for the royals and why you always follow the USAmis without much thinking and opposing the EU. You are crazy drivers who like overtaking on narrow streets in curves and knocking tourists off the road - although outside cars you can be very friendly and helpful folks. I prefer your pubs to your hooligans, an english cream tea or fish&chips to peppermint sauce. And not to forget 'bout your fine uisge beatha - skol!
