Si, es gay. Anduvo con el fallecido River Phoenix, con el productor Geffen y con varios famosos mas de hollywood. Ha tenido varias novias pero solo para "taparle el ojo al macho" porque siempre terminan tronando debido a sus inclinaciones por los hombres. Fuera de eso, es un muy buen actor.
