Could you please tell me why everybody was supporting Italy over there?
After the match a huge spontaneous parade took place….

I have supported Italy! But I'm Belgian and I didn't want hearing French people talking about World Cup for 4 years! They are too chauvinistic! It's boring me!

Parce que je n'y etais pas, je me trouvais plutot a Orlando.
Premierement, Mr. Bush a voulu detruire l'image de la France qui est plutot pacifiste avec ses discours haineux: "If you're not with me , you're with the terrorists." Alors avec sa propagande de merde, ca a passe.
Deuxiemement, aux Etats-Unis, l'Italie est plus reconnue sur le niveau du foot que la France. Cela jusqu'a maintenant...
Troisiemement, les Francais s'integrent, tres difficilte de se reconnaitre dans les rues tout comme ca.
Une chance que je n'y etais pas la a Miami moi, vous m'auriez bel et bien attendu.

It is not fair to say that everybody was supporting Italy... In France a parade took place to congratulate french team for their success during the worldcup because to be in final is a good result....
