la mitad de 2^2+2 es 4, pues si quieres que sea 3 debería decir algo como cual es la mitad de la solución de 2^2+2, o bien la mitad de (2^2+2)

Depende...
a) (2^2)/2 +2=4/2 +2 = 2+2 =4
b) (2/2)^2+2 = 1^2+2 =1+2 =3
c) ((2^2)+2)/2 = (4+2)/2 = 6/2 =3
Ahora si al exponente 2 le sumamos 2...
d) (2/2)^(2+2) =1^4 =1
e) (2^(2+2))/2=(2^4)/2=16/2=8
