We don't HATE any other team. We just don't like the dutch and like to see them losing.
But why?? You could probably trace it back to the 74 finals, but anyway what would be sports without its rivalries.

There is no simple answer!
First of all, there might be a contemptuous adjustment in the person who hates Italian football, based on
1. experience with Italian people immigrated in Germany, not speaking well German,
2. having relations who have been in the last world war soldiers in Italy, estimating the Italians as cowards
3. italian language, which sounds to German ears as a somewhat ridiculous singing.
4. the appearance of the Italian people, having black hair more or less cared for, and usually dark skin, which evokes the impression of gipsies hanging around .

You may consider this point by point, and compare parallel conditions with your own country.

To my opinion on the other hand, there might be at such a person an ambitious striving to do as well as the Italians do, handling the football.
Italians are artists with the ball! It is said, they sometimes caress the ball! So they are named the European Brasilians.
However, it is always difficult to generalize an attitude of people. It might be, that the Italians are generally greater individualists, as the Germans. Already in ancient times - the Germans succeeded by integrating themselves into groups or teams, one fighting for the other, not at all criticizing the next group member, forgetting fully the personal own glory. This impression might particularly get that spectator, watching the present German football team playing football.
And you can imagine, how dashing to the ground it is for a team,
finding an artistic opponent producing from his sleeve a goal!

Ok? Allright?
I hope I could give an good answer.
I personally like the Italian language, which is wonderful to be sung in operas. I like the Italians playing football, but am always afraid they produce goals from their sleeves !!

Germans? All of us? Most? Some?

I think you can find people of all nationality who don't like it - even Italians.

I don't like it, because it's unattractive. Just efficiency is not what I like to see. And if they cannot win, they're the most pathetic divers I've ever seen.
