What a wonderful question!! I don't think so. Not originally. And I mean ORIGINALLY. Adam and Eve didn't wear clothes. And if you don't believe in them, and that we are descended from animals, well, they didn't wear clothes either. Many tribes in undeveloped countries don't wear clothes. They don't have the opinions and attitudes we Westerners have about clothing. See, if we were to go naked, there would be all sorts of problems from other people looking at us. If we were naked from the very beginning, this would not be a problem.
Some religions teach of a world in the far future that is perfect. In their depictions of said perfect world, everyone is wearing clothes. I say, if we are to live in a perfect world, we would not be clothed and the original innocence would be ours once again.
